Iran, Tehran, August 2023

International Online Workshop on Collar Jacket Pattern Making and Sewing.

About Workshop

In the fashion industry, the bridge between idea and execution is crucial. A designer must understand the path from idea to garment. With expertise in pattern-making and sewing, and considering the path to the final product in the ideation phase, your initial idea becomes refined and executable. Among different styles, the design and pattern-making of various types of coats are very important.
This course teaches pattern-making and sewing of a collar coat from scratch. It is suitable for those who already know how to design and sew various types of skirts, coats, and shirt pants, for example, those who have completed a basic coat course and a trouser workshop and want to learn professional pattern-making and sewing of various types of coats.
Afam events, accompanied and taught by Professor Kenneth King, clothing and fashion designer, author, one of the editors of Threads magazine and a popular professor at the Institute of Fashion Technology in New York City, for the first time in Iran, a training course on pattern making and sewing a collared jacket in the summer 2023 will be held. This course is for people who have specialized sewing and pattern making skills and are at an advanced level and are seasoned tailors or professional clothing designers.
Professor Kent King has 40 years of experience and specializes in sewing, fashion, and clothing in Manhattan.
